Buy a Surfboard Longboard?

I am looking to buy a new Longboard Surfboard. My current board is 9'0 "Walden Magic (epoxy). I like my advice, it's fast, looks good, but not very stable. I have 43, 6 '2 ", 235 lbs. I am not a beginner and I do most of my surfing S. FL. and Costa Rica. Could you please guide me on the way to go, make, shape, size, etc? I thought About making a fiberglass plate that time (more stable?) and be between 9'0 "to 10".

First, you really should ask this question in stores in Florida or browse CR. people these stores know the best local breaks, and can make good recommendations that match their size and skill level. I do not like surfboards recommendation to "Marca". For example, Walden makes nice rods, but there is also a series of many of its products, and are very popouts. Of course, channel tables shaped island are a vote computer, so maybe I'm just a dinosaur. My longboard is Allison, and I support plates made by local trainers, which forms plaques that are be very suitable for the pauses that normally take. Port Stewart and beautiful, well done to longboards to name a few. When it comes to a longboard, fiberglass is definitely more flexible and epoxy. Clearing is the weight, but it is significant that, in my opinion. I'm 5'10 "215 and I ride in a" 9'4 x 23 x 2 5 / 8. I think what we have to add stability is not necessarily the length but the width and thickness (buoyancy). I have 56 years, and walked over and short boards. I started on a longboard in 66 (like everyone else), and I think the breadth and dynamism are factors of stability.
