I'm on a budget, so all suggestions if this card is bad? ive been said soft to get a card, if so, would be a great 6footer be okay? I have 15 years, 5'2 "and 105 pounds. OH! How about this? Given its size, both are reasonable choices. However, I am very skeptical about how make such recommendation on the line. ER 130 is right with his assessment that the softtop is probably the best of both for a couple for 15 years. Soft plates hurt much less when Bonk on the head. Surfing is a sport that should only be practiced by people who are confident and competent swimmers in the ocean. Is there any so many dangerous people in the water today, they think they can navigate. The classes are the only sensible way to start surfing, or a professional instructor, surf, friends or relatives. Most professional instructors who will rent a table to learn. Beginners should not even think about buying a card until they dominate the base, and decide if you really want to continue browsing. Although I'm sure you'll get a lot of "advice" the best answer is to go to a real good local Surf Shop and discuss your skill level, and local conditions, size of the waves with the staff there. that will give much more information than anyone here in cyberspace. Why not rent a table while you are learning. When you decide you want to keep browsing, consider buying a decent card, and avoid popouts pops and tables made in sweatshops in China, unless it is just what you can afford. And do not forget, have not always used surfboards for sale in all surf shops. After 42 years of surfing, I still have my board buying advice on good local shops where navigate. And, since, obviously, is just beginning, it's easy to deceive in the purchase of a surfboard line. Do not rush into buying something you only disappoint you. And I know there are many good guys who want to share information with you in line. But do not take the advice of the young, who know even less than you about surfing, a surfboard is a great investment. A person in line, which gives advice specific advice someone to buy the size that is rubbish. Who does this advice is more stupid. I surfed for sa long, long time, and I hope to learn the right way, and as fun as what I had.
